Long Box

The long box is a former method of packaging CDs that allowed it to be displayed in the deep shelves originally intended for 12" records in stores. The standard CD case was packaged inside a cardboard casing which extended the length. The artwork was often larger to fit the larger surface area. Because they are an obsolete form of packaging and were often thrown away, these are highly desirable for collectors.

Although technically a variation, due to their highly collectible nature we have decided to start documenting them on their own separate pages for easier reference.

RAINN

In June 1994, Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN), a toll-free help line in the US connecting callers with their local rape crisis center, was partly founded by Tori. Herself a survivor of sexual assault, she became the first national spokesperson for the organization.

Bmg Club

Tori's albums were frequently released to BMG Music Club. This club originated as a mail-order service to purchase music. In the past, BMG releases contained special markings denoting them as being from the club. These have become collectible over time because they are now difficult to obtain. Later on Tori's releases looked identical to the retail versions. Before CDs became popular, the BMG Club operated in a similar way with cassettes. The cassette releases from BMG are even more difficult to locate and obtain.

Columbia House

Similar to BMG Music Club, Columbia House was a mail-order music store. Columbia House releases contain special markings denoting them as being from the music club. They are more difficult to obtain in recent years and are therefore more collectible. In 2005, BMG purchased Columbia House and consolidated operations.
This is the US release of Tori's first solo album. Quite a few variations of it exist.

• The letters "SRC" in the matrix number indicates that the CD was pressed at "Specialty Records Corporation."
• The letters "ARC" in the matrix number indicates that the CD was pressed at "Allied Record Company."
• If there is both "ARC" and "SRC", then the CD was pressed at Allied Record Company but the glass master came from Specialty Records Corporation.
