Description: This version of the "Hey Jupiter" EP is from Amazon.com's Manufactured On Demand (MOD) program and has a few minor differences from the original Atlantic release. Most notably, it comes in a standard Jewel Case, rather than the usual digipak. According to Amazon, "This product is manufactured on demand using CD-R recordable media." Since the "Hey Jupiter" EP is out of print, this allows Amazon to continue to sell certain popular titles even after they are no longer being manufactured by the record label. Amazon licenses the recordings to be sold this way, making them legitimate releases. Both the printed inserts and CDs look very professional, and it would be difficult to identify it as a CD-R if you did not know in advance. Amazon currently lists a release date of 02/03/12 for the "Hey Jupiter" EP, so this is presumably the date it became available through the CD-R on demand program.

Tori's albums were frequently released to BMG Music Club. This club originated as a mail-order service to purchase music. In the past, BMG releases contained special markings denoting them as being from the club. These have become collectible over time because they are now difficult to obtain. Later on Tori's releases looked identical to the retail versions. Before CDs became popular, the BMG Club operated in a similar way with cassettes.
