Flat

A Flat is a usually double-sided 12" by 12" promotional poster sent to retail stores. In the past they were usually made for every album, but now that is not always necessarily the case. They're usually made out of slightly stiff poster board or thin poster paper. Occasionally, the size is different from the standard 12" by 12" and have a detachable component.

RAINN

In June 1994, Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN), a toll-free help line in the US connecting callers with their local rape crisis center, was partly founded by Tori. Herself a survivor of sexual assault, she became the first national spokesperson for the organization.
This is a promotional US flat from the time of the "Silent All These Years" re-issue for RAINN. It is interesting to note is that the photo of the Little Earthquakes CD on the back of the flat contains the misprinted promotional line from the 1st pressing of the CD.
